 There's going to be a livestream for The Hobbit premiere in Berlin today and I think Evi is supposed to be there. Maybe I'm going to watch it. I'll report back if I do. |

I wish Evi's interview would have been a bit longer, but she signed autographs for a good 50 minutes and so when she finally reached the interview table, she had to leave shortly after to get her picture taken with her cast-mates. She only got to answer 3 questions.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, she talked about her last day of filming and how it was just her and Andy Serkis working in front of a green screen. They had a blast together. She also mentioned that she started training for the role 1 month prior to the start of filming. They were very specific about the fighting style they wanted to use for Tauriel. It was supposed to be graceful but deadly and it shouldn't be recognizable as a human martial arts form. Apparently, during research, they stumbled upon an ancient Chinese fighting technique and used it as inspiration. And Evi said that Peter Jackson doesn't only choose actors based on their abilities, but that he also tries to make sure that their personalities mesh and that they all became a big family on set.
