LOL! I've been invited to join a trip over there a couple of times. Unfortunately both times I was absolutely broke, ahem.

And speaking of UK, and with the clock already marking December 8 in Europe: Happy Birthday Dominic!

It was Ian's birthday too! It was actually trending on twitter today.

Btw, I meant to post the trailer for Dom's new movie "The Day", but I lost the link.

Happy b-day to Ian, too, then!

I didn't even know Dom had filmed a new project , or perhaps I forgot about the news.

I added a section for Sawyer/Jack in the op.

And here's the trailer for Dom's new movie.

Thanks for the clip! The trailer doesn't look bad at all - is the film about a post-apocalyptic scenario/sci-fi, or is it horror?

ETA - forgot to say thanks for taking care of the Jack/Sawyer thread!

Yep, it's a post-apocalyptic sci-fi film.

It reminded me of The Tribe. A TV show I was too old to watch, but did anyway.

It really does. Not just the content, but the cinematography as well. I like the song in the trailer too. It sounds Kings of Leon-ish.

Is the band who made it "Explosions In The Sky"? They're the first name coming to my mind with this kind of instrumental sound.

A little mention of the old days on the Lost set from this interview with Daniel:
Interview: "Hawaii Five-0's" Daniel Dae Kim & Peter M. Lenkov | TheFutonCritic.com
Quote:
JH: I have to ask at least one 'Lost' question, Daniel. What do you miss about the experience of that show?

DDK:
One of the great things about 'Lost' was that we had such a large cast and it was so great to work with so many different people and so many different energies and acting styles. I feel like it kept me on my toes as an actor. It was nice to wake up to know one day you're working with Terry O'Quinn and another day working with Harold Perrineau and another day with Josh Holloway but all very different actors and all very talented. I felt like there was a little bit of versatility when it came to the work. On this show, because there are only four of us, my scenes are predominantly with just a couple of people. For some reason, Chin Ho doesn't interact a lot with the guest stars. We're getting to know each other really well but that change of energy is something that I miss about 'Lost.'

Explosions In The Sky? Never heard of it.

Thanks for the DDK quote! Of course he mentioned his boys Josh and Harold, lol. I reckon he'll always have a special place in his heart for Lost, but Daniel has a LOT more lines and action on H50 than he ever did in the six seasons of Lost.

Thanks for the DDK interview Fran! He sounds a bit dissatisfied with his work!

I don't think he sounds dissatified at all. Like Crystal said, he gets way more line and things to do on H5O. Why just last night he had a bomb strapped to his neck. Plus he gets to look HAWT riding around on a motorcycle.

And IIRC he tweeted the other day about how he had enjoyed filming that day or something. And since the actors on LOST never had a clue about what was going on with their characters or what was coming down the pike and some may or may not have been satisfied with how their characters ended up in the "real" timeline of the show (not the "sideways" reality), I think he was just trying to find something nice to say about LOST that would not offend anyone.

FNL pilot. That song you heard throughout was by them

Its a shame that none of the actors from LOST got Golden Globe nominations. Michael Emerson, Terry O'Quinn and Matthew Fox probably all had a bit of a chance.
