Adorkable. He's filled out a bit since leaving the island.

He is looking good! Although... that hair is... debatable.

H5O - last episode I saw was 13... or 14. I know the next one would feature a tsunami story, so I have to catch up from there.

Oh! You're only two episodes behind. The tsunami episode aired 2 weeks ago. And there was a new episode tonight.

I'm only 2 behind then? Wow, I thought it would be at least 4. Great!

BTW, kudos to H5O for stating one of the greatest truths of our world on national television:
Quote:
I don’t care where we are, pizza and pineapple do not belong in the same airspace!
Thank you Danny, thank you.

I taped the first 2 episodes and I have watched most of the first one. I quite like it so far. I've got to get to know the characters more to know if it will stick.

The show is 50% action and 50% Steve/Danny banter, but it's fun.
Did the character leave a good first impression on you?

BTW, while I think it is great that they use the Hawaiian language for the titles of the episodes, it also means that I can't remember any of them to save my life.

Michael holding a puppy - I can hear Lost fans squeeing everywhere.

Thanks for the pics, Roseli!

I liked Steve/Danny but I didn't love them. I loved Daniel's character though (I can't remember his name). I haven't seen much of his chacacter's cousin to form an opinion about her. I'm not sure how good the writing's going to be. I enjoyed some of it but some of it was a bit silly.

Thanks for the doggy pics Roseli!

If you're waiting for the good writing down the road... you should stop.
The plots are predictable and the storylines are nothing exceptional, but I think the show knows its few strong points and use them, which is something.
Chin (Daniel's character) is a sweetheart, but neither him or Kono ever get amounts of screentime similar to Danny and Steve's, I'm at episode 13 and I would say they're still underdeveloped.

It's true. Most of the focus goes to Steve and Danny. I think Chin has a little more development than Kono. But not much.

Aww, Michael and the doggie. I am pleased to see Carrie's red hair. It means she's filming new episodes of True Blood.

I've finished the first 2 episodes of Hawaii 5-0. I'm liking the characters more now. The Steve/Danny banter is growing on me although Steve seems a bit stilted. I love Chin and Kono so it's not good that they aren't the main characters.

Jorge Garcia is in the pilot of Mr. Sunshine on ABC tonight.

"Stilted" is a very good choice of word.

Chin and Kono do have their centric episodes, unfortunately it's just a temporary spotlight though. Hopefully things will improve in the future.

Dominic was on Craig Ferguson two nights ago:

Dom is always either on Craig Ferguson or Jimmy Kimmel. They love him.

Thanks, Fran!
