Tell me about it! I remember having a field day about that news. Then I was crushed to find out we had jumped to conclusions when Season 4 started.

Thankfully I was not watching at that time and I just watched that Season as quickly as possible on my DVDs. Its definetely my least favorite season.

I just can't pick a least favourite season for this show. But, I will say that Season 4 definitely made me really down for the most part. It was painful to endure and there were certain episodes that I refuse to revisit. Ruby is a HUGE reason for such feelings.

clearly i hate that they made it a huge big secret...... like why not tell us beforehand so we can get used to it. and not be ambushed with that news

Yeah..not happy. Considering it was a double death fic of you can guess who and I am even more unhappy.

The fact that they surprised us with her return made it so much worse. It was like being slapped in the face for reasons you weren't aware of. I remember thinking, "What..? But, what did we do wrong to deserve this?"

I wasn't surprised. The way S3 ended for Ruby and if you'd read really closely and between the lines of some of the comments during the summer hiatus it was pretty easy to deduct. Or at least enough to not fall out of the sky when the reveal happened.
