I completely agree, guys. I'm still reeling over the fact that Brennan (Brennan!) is even THINKING about love. Them being married and being pregnant in their dreams/fantasies (whatever it is), is just icing on the cake. This is huge for them.

Joana, I understand your perspective.

That's the risk you take with these kind of episodes. No matter how you do it, not everyones gonna be able to relate/connect to them. For me, I've always loved stuff like this, finding the beauty and deeper meanings in things. Once I got over the hype this ep caused, this ep just rose to one of my favorites. The clear symbolism is just so powerful and has made the BB relationship even more beautiful to me. I understand everyone won't see it the same way though.

once you get over how much the ep was hyped up you can really enjoy the hot scenes lol

That is my major problem with the finale also. It was a enjoyable and fun episode but I can't just fully except these people as Booth and Brennan or any kind of extension. When I have a dream in my dream I am still me. I am never someone completely different. I guess the most important thing about the finale was that Brennan realized she was in love with Booth and I am grateful for that. Shauna, your perspective is great. It's always nice to read a positive spin on something I felt was negative. I am definitely not as mad as I once was thanks to you and everyone here.

Mayhem was such a amazing episode.

So heartbreaking.

OMG YEA thats how I felt too. It wasn't booth and brennan for me most of of the time...
i can't really explain it.
But I agree with Shauna, it was the strong symbolism that showed us what they maybe like as a couple

In my personal opinion though, If you try to block all the media hype out and take it for what it is, it was an amazing and beautiful episode, IMO. The whole theme of the episode is one of the most powerful things I've ever seen.

There is a real and true beauty to what the episode meant for the Booth/Brennan relationship. What we saw with Bren and Mr. B --- It's not about two strangers together, it's a glimpse of a life Booth and Brennan crave to have -- married with a child on the way -- deep down but are too afraid still to admit they want. In fact, in the episode before this, they might have been very well on the way to starting some version of that life. But that path they started, it was unfortunately all put to a stop with his tumor and surgery. Making the episode even more significant, we see Brennan finally admitting to herself in the form of written word what we've all known all along. She loves Booth. Her struggle with love is sad but there's such a beauty in that tragedy.

The whole episode is a testament to the love BB have for each other, the life they want together. It's too soon though. They aren't ready to take that risk and "fly". But knowing that parts of them DO want that --- that's something that deserves not to be minimized.

Yeah well said Shauna, ITA.

Maybe we should play season 4 survivor. It would be impossible to chose a fave.

A season four survivor would be awesome. I think there was a season three one done last year when that finished too.

I know what you mean though, it's going to be almost impossible to pick a winner, there are so many amazing ones to choose.
