Indira still equals Suzie Costello on Torchwood for me.

The episodes were goood.
I loved all their little moments and stuff. Walking arm and arm out of the ...whatever it was. To tell the truth, I am REALLY upset about Angela and Hodgins. The first episode clearly showed where both their hearts were and that their love is real. The breakup seemed SO force. But BB was the magical, as always. I am rewatching the episode this weekend (: __________________

Tonight's episode was definitely entertaining. Loved Booth in that little mini-Cooper, how hilarious. |

I didn't like the Ange&Hodgins breaking up thing that broke my heart that they did, after everything in the last episode before that....I felt bad for them, but I hope they do get back together on terms of things. And Dr. Sweets was hilarious in this episode he is a great asset to the cast, and ah Clark left, I liked him!!! he was great for the team but they involved him in to much of the outside stuff. I loved the London filming though that was totally awesome, and the Cam sleeping with Grayson after everything....it was selfish of her to do that. Booth was so funny in this episode his yelling about London was funny!!! And the ending was perfect!! Arm in Arm...so cute! All in all I liked the opening it's true it wasn't tense at all in the lab though. I liked the lab stuff it was good. bringing sweets in was the best they ever thought of! hehe. It was a good opening thouh for the new season.

Between Booth and Sweets I laughed alot tonight. So funny!
And I love, love, loved Jack/Angela in the first half of the ep. Even though I know it was coming I had hoped spoilers were wrong, but sadly they did break up and it was every bit as heartbreaking and lame as I expected. Why???????? __________________

Loved the show. There was a lot of good stuff. The cast rocked. I'm not a big Hodgela shipper, but I thought the scene where they broke up was touching and sad. Had that been BB, I would have been balling my eyes out.

Loved
Booth/Brennan - Well of course I loved them. Duh! They had some cute moments, Booth calling her special, saying he'd take it hard if she died, the dinner at the end of part 1, Brennan not sleeping with Ian, cause it'd upset Booth, just guh! I love them. Please hook up, please? LOLZ and I loved him calling her rain man. Brennan - LOLZ I loved how she didn't want to be a princess when she was a little kid. So Brennan. <3. Booth - LMAO! His hatred of London was amusing, offensive? Probs, but still amusing. "I am so glad we had a revolution!" LOLZ. Oh Booth. Murder storyline - IDK I found it really interesting but I wasn't to sad to see Ian go, it was sad to see Brennan lose a friend, but yeah... Meh. Sweets - He is such a dork! I love him. Lolz, him laughing at Grayson being there, the turtle party wagon. I swear I think they might make him gay, IDK why, I just have a feeling. Opening credits - So pretty!!! Hated Angela/Hodgins break up - UGH! That break up was so stupid and lame, like that was the only thing I didn't like about this episode. I don't get why they broke up at all. They could've gotten over it really easily too, it's not like anyone cheated. Who the **** cares who Cam sleeps with? Grayson - OK I will admit he was gorgeous, but I don't care for him at all. He just caused stupid drama for them. Ugh!!! Everything else I wish there were more Zack mentions but I am confident he will be back and will be mentioned in future episodes, and I know episodes were shot out of order too. __________________

I'm glad that Angela and Hodgins have broken up. And before anyone starts throwing anything at me let me explain. In a show like this, if they were together it might be ruined. The writers on this show are very good, but this happens a lot and it is possible. This is one of the reasons that the writers haven't put Booth and Bones together is because the tension/build up is the best part. So this way they get to fall into an even deeper love this way. So I still very much believe that they will get their happily ever after. Though I did loved Cam and Sweets reaction to Angela's ex. And I love how he called Hodgins the little angry man.
I love Sweets and am so happy he's a regular now. That actor has grown up so much, I remember how small he was on Freeks and Geeks. Him falling over and landing on his face was great. I love his story about the toy and his face when he realize his neighbor was in love with him. And he was adorable with wanting to touch the brain. I love how he's so smart, but such a kid at the same time. He's like Zach, but a more grown up society adapted version of him in a way, but also his own person. If that makes any sense at all. I love Booth and Bones working with their British counterparts. But I have to say that Booth was a bit of a jerk how he was behaving in England. It just felt like he was playing a stereotype of how they see us Americans. Rude, brass, bossy, and not caring about their traditions and culture. It just took him a bit to adapt to their cultures. I loved him saying sorry to the guard about his sister. In the second part he was being back to the Booth I know and love. Though I did love his rant in the street because he couldn't understand the driving. I'm sure I would have done the same thing, though I don't know if I would have screamed at the top of my lungs. To be fair to Booth some of the British characters were just as annoying like the guy who headbutted Booth. Seriously I know the FBI badge had no power over there. But you don't physically attack a person with a badge, it's just a bad stupid idea. And who headbutts, it leaves you open to attacks if it doesn't go as planned. Using your leg or fist I would think would be a much better approach. I'm glad that Bones didn't sleep with Ian, I think she did it not only for Booth, but for herself as well. I don't think Bones would have been happy being a notch in his bedpost. But then again they were both adults and they would see each other randomly. So I guess they would behave the same way, they were before they had sexual relations. because the infatuation hadn't worn off if they had been around each other for longer periods of time. I also think that Booth was looking out for her not just because of her feelings for her, but because he is her close friend and doesn't want her to be just any other woman that Ian would go after. I think Pritch was in love with Ian and in his own way he cared for her. But he was too much in love with the chase of women. And she understood this so she took happiness in what he could give her. He was probably more true to her than any other woman. I mean he was most honest and giving of himself to her. They were partners after all, sometimes there are things that your partner knows about you that your loves ones don't. I love how Pritch picked up on that there is something between Booth and Bones. And she encourage Bones to pursue Booth and what could come from taking that route. I have to say there is something that bugged me about this episode. This probably comes from my love of the series Jeeves and Wooster, a funny show about the adventures of a gentleman and his valet. Hugh Laurie, of House fame was the gentleman, Bertie Wooster and Stephen Fry, who was Booth's shrink when he shot the clown played the valet Jeeves. Anyway what I was saying is a gentleman's gentleman is a valet not a butler. Butlers are usually in charge of the entire house. While the valet caters to the interests of only one of the gentlemen of the house. It was basically pulling on the old cliche joke that the butler did the crime. Now the writers might have planned for the character to be a butler, but they shouldn't have used the line a gentleman's gentleman. I guess they could say that he acted as both, but a house that size and they are definitely rich enough that they would have a complete staff of servants to tend to the house. Nothing like in the old times, but also with modern updates, I doubt they would need as many. I love how Booth made the remark about him asking to take Booth's hat. And the butler brought back with the line a gentleman would have worn a hat. I think a good start to a good season. __________________

I'm rating this episode 5/10 because I'm feeling very generous and because I'm trying more positive approach to everything lately
What I loved: - London. It's my second favorite city in Europe so yeah, for personal reasons. - Hodgins, except for the break up scene and that thrown-in-the-trash one which I'll get back to, he firmly stays my favorite (and currently only) character on the show. Also TJ looks fiiiine! Please don't straighten his hair later in the season like we've seen in promo pic - J/A "bells" kiss and most of their interactions in the first hour. - Brennan's mention of Zack in the opening scene. I like it when she gets emotional. Just too bad for Booth's reaction. - Brennan. For no specific reason. - Indira Varma What I hated: - There's as many Brits vs Yanks jokes one can handle. Same with "fish out of water" humor. It bothers me on so many levels and I'm not even British. It's the same as the freak out my friends here had after the Paris episode of GG a couple of years ago and it's the same annoyance I have every time I'm forced to watch an Eastern European character being a hooker or a Russian mobster with a thick accent. It's simply stupid, overdone and fake. - Some of B/B. I wish they went back to the natural, genuine interactions of S1/2. Back when not every single scene between them had to be a bone (lame pun not intended) thrown to the shippers. *is ready for the tomatoes* - Sweets. I love JFD and right now I'm just gonna stick to Sam Weir, because him as Sweets? Meh. I never particularly cared about him, but 1. his "expertise" is not needed (you know, once upon a time it was a show about people working in a lab, solving crimes thanks to skeletons and bugs ). Squints+Booth were successfully solving crimes for 2 seasons without a help of genius profiler/therapist/clinical psychologist (they have to decide which one is his specialty, BTW. Most therapists don't work as profilers and clinical psychologist =/= therapist); 3. he's there to bring together B/B and state the obvious which makes me long for days when us, the viewers, were shown things and not told 4. he offends my former field of work but then again the approach this show has always had to psychology and mental health specialists was at best slightly offensive so... And please, he was such a cartoon in that scene between J/A and her ex. - J/A... *sigh* Considering I watch for these 2 together and separately, their break up broke my heart. And I was spoiled as hell... It's contrived, cheap drama at its soapest. It's OOC for both of them, it's destroying Angela for me, it's gonna destroy Hodgins and I absolutely hate it. There's no such thing as an obligatory break-up to make things interesting on a TV show. There are couples written together who are fascinating because their problems and tensions are real, feel real. What we got with J/A is a lame plotline right from the end of S2, clearly written in to stir troubles and nothing more. If you'd scratch the surface more often, dear writers, you'd see there are tons of better ideas to create conflict and tension between a couple than an out-of-nowhere break up that doesn't make much sense. It was rushed and unneeded. Angela's reasoning was weak, Hodgins not putting up a fight was OOC. Lame, lame, lame. - Birimwhatever... Not as god-like-looking, IMO. But then again I'm biased and I'd take Hodgins over any guy on this show any day *shrugs* - Cam/Birimwhatever? I have soap operas for stories like that. Just because you make your character do something doesn't mean it suddenly has a storyline. - Zack... I already miss him dearly. His absence is noticeable. I guess, he wasn't as expendable as the writers thought I probably have more to say but that's all I remember now. Overall an average season opener of a show that apparently peaked in S2. It feels like a waste of potential and excellent actors... Just my 2 cents and I realize they're probably seem harsh and that a lot of people won't agree. |
