^ That is so true! Riley always got a brief glimpse of Topanga's quirky side in Cory and Topanga. She would definitely see more of their similarities if she were to see more of Topanga when she was around the same age as Riley.

I liked that Riley saw her mother was awkward when she was Riley's age too.

^ Right? I think Riley always thought that she was Baby Cory...but in that moment when she got a glimpse of Topanga when she was younger, she realized that she had some of Topanga's quirks as well.

I love that scene! Riley tried to be dark...and Topanga thought it was cute how Riley was the opposite of dark.  __________________

^ She was annoyed, wasn't she? Topanga loved that Riley was a good girl. Of course she didn't teach her how to do bad things.

^ It did make sense. I can't remember Topanga ever having a bad girl phase on Boy Meets World.
 She was a good girl from her first moment to her last moment. Of course she would teach her daughter to be a good girl too.  I do wonder if Riley would have gone through a (mini) bad girl phase at some point. I would have loved to have seen how Topanga would have handled that.    __________________

Topanga did have kind of a rebellious side when it came to social issues, nowhere near a bad girl phase, but it did cause her to challenge authority figures sometimes - I think Riley was starting to become the same way
