^ I think it's tougher for Topanga. She's the kind of person who fights for the people she loves. They don't call her a killer shark for nothing. The second she finds out that Riley is upset, she goes into Mama Bear mode...i.e. doing everything she can to make sure she is happy.

^ I think so too. I can see Topanga reading every book and consulting the parents in her life for advice on preparing for a baby and raising him or her...and then realizing that it's nothing like she thought it would be like when Riley was born.

Oh, you know that's true. She would have wanted to be the best mother she could be, so I think she did a lot of preparation for her babies.

It's good to remember that Topanga wasn't always so confident - Riley would feel better if she knew about that too!

^ Oh, yes. I remember how Riley felt like she couldn't measure up to Topanga in Cory and Topanga...but then she saw her when Topanga was her age, and that seemed to bring her back down to earth. I think Riley seeing Topanga's awkward, less confident, unique years would definitely make her feel closer to her. It would connect them even more than they already are.
