I think that is my favorite Shawn and Topanga scene as well. It showed they had a friendship besides a friendship through Cory.

Exactly. I really appreciated TPTB's decision to make Shawn and Topanga friends, not just two people that were connected because of their bond with Cory. I think it was important to have them form their own bond.
