^ I think so too. They may not have had much, but they did have each other. I can totally imagine them finding creative ways to show how much they loved and appreciated each other.

^ Yeah.
 I was initially thinking that Katy would display Maya's drawings on every wall of their home, but now I'm thinking that Katy has all of the pieces of art in a special box that she will take out when she starts missing Maya.  __________________

^ I'm glad. Katy did strike me as the kind of parent who would want to make sure Maya knows how much she loves and supports her in everything she does. I bet Katy has kept every project that Maya has made, from kindergarten to high school and beyond.

 Maya probably thinks that those art projects are long gone. She will be so touched when she comes across the box that is filled with all of her old artwork. __________________

^ That's true. Katy and Maya must have had years where they had to get by, living paycheque to paycheque, so Maya must have used her creativity to make Katy beautiful gifts quite a bit. No matter how tough they had it, I'm sure Katy really appreciated Maya's gifts.
