Me too, they were at odds so much, so moments like that showed that underneath it all, there was a lot of affection there

Even though I always loved it when Ava was sassy and unapologetic when she talked to the other characters, it was also great to see those moments where she showed off her soft, vulnerable side.

^ I can't see it changing much either. I think Topanga figured out right away that Ava is going to be in Auggie's life for a very long time, so she made sure to be as welcoming and accepting as she could be to her.

^ It did seem that way.

I always enjoyed the Ava/Topanga moments that TPTB gave us. Since they were similar in so many ways, the most innocent comment somehow caused them to get caught up in a battle of wits with each other.

^ I believe that. I think, since Topanga recognized that Ava was very much like her when they first met, she was so quick to get caught up in a battle of wits with her, because she had to make sure she wouldn't be replaced in the other character's (i.e. Auggie's) life.

^ I think so too. I can only imagine what their interactions/dynamic is going to be like the longer they are in each other's lives.

If I could caption that screencap, it would be 'Look at me! I'm Ava, a big ball of energy!'.

=p I love the looks on Cory and Topanga's faces in that screencap.
