^ Exactly. Everyone else just took a step back from being the center of attention, and they gave her the space to shine.

Oh, that's a fact. Nobody who met and/or knew Ava was surprised by her winning trophies and awards. She always gave off that 'never quit', winning attitude.

She did, plus she was really competitive - right up there with Topanga - so I think she'd always do whatever it took to win!
