^ Yes, they were. I think Alan and Amy always hoped that Mr. Feeny was going to find someone who he could spend his life with. They were so happy to celebrate that moment when he told them that he had proposed to Dean Bolander. It showed that Mr. Feeny really was part of the Matthews family.
