I love that Cory thanked Mr. Feeny, even though he didn't know what he was thanking him for. Clearly Cory knew that Mr. Feeny was going to make a big impact on him.          __________________

^ I think it was. Cory seeing Mr. Feeny in the hospital made Cory realize how much more he had to learn from Mr. Feeny. He seemed more open and willing to learn from him.

^ Yes! The fact that Mr. Feeny called Cory an empty vessel tells me that Mr. Feeny always knew that Cory had a lot of potential. Mr. Feeny probably thought that Cory could be an excellent student who would get great grades if he put in the time and effort into his education.

^ I think so too. Mr. Feeny wouldn't have tried that hard to get through to Cory if Mr. Feeny hadn't felt that Cory could be successful with a little bit of drive and attention.
