Yeah same here, I love Kevin but Cristina really turned Owen into a bad character.

^Same. Is it bad that I was relieved in a sense that Cristina was leaving? I like Cristina, but the Crowen relationship just became too much. Owen has so much potential as a character, and didn't deserve what happened with Cristina. The world revolved around her and his wants/needs weren't even up for discussion. It's disgusting.

Hopefully Amelia will be healthier for him. Amelia has her share of flaws and issues, too. They both do, so hopefully they'll be able to help each other.

The moment I truly despised their relationship was when Cristina aborted their baby ... I mean Owen wanted a baby and she knew that and still does nothing to fix it so that she won't even get tempted with getting pregnant. I think that's why they match so well because they both have gone through their issues and even now with James and Cris gone they're going through it again.

Shephunt would make me think of Derek/Owen

I think It will happen eventually seeing as Owen is in Trauma and Amelia is Nero so maybe that's when they will butt heads.

Especially if Owen is grieving, I can see him taking his grief out on everyone around him. I could see them butting heads over a patient. Amelia doesn't have a filter, either!

Isn't that kind of an obvious pairing? I hope they have more chemistry than Alex/Jo because this is not an original pairing...

Caterina has chemistry with everyone, IMO. But I'm hoping they have chemistry for sure, but I wouldn't say Alex and Jo don't have chemistry, so...

Quite frankly, without censoring the blatantly truth... chemistry is what a lot of people complain about pertaining to Alex and Jo. So hopefully Amelia and Owen's are more obvious to a larger majority of the online audience.

And if you don't like Amelia and Owen, you're free not to post in this thread. Just saying. They haven't had scenes yet, so we are purely speculating. Some of us think they'll be good together.

I am not sure how it's bashing, I am simply pointing out what a lot of people have said. That's like saying that if I mention people said the sky is a certain colour that it's my personal opinion when it's just a collection of opinions that converges on the general colour blue. I have also seen you criticizing April in the Alex/Jo thread while posting in the April/Jackson thread and I generally don't like hypocrisy.

Furthermore, the point was not to bash Alex/Jo but to suggest that if this pairing was going to take off in a way that they'd instinctively generate overnight fans (in the way Meredith/Derek or even Jackson/April did), is to have great chemistry since the story might be somewhat obvious (aka her becoming a regular, Owen recently losing Cristina. Insert tension and dislike between Owen and Amelia in a formulaic way...)

I am neither a hater or supporter of this pairing and it is hardly a shipper thread since there is no ship to speak of.

Never said they'd generate overnight fans. I'm well aware of the negativity toward this potential ship. Frankly, I'm just tired of seeing it, especially when they haven't had a scene. I'm also tired of the Alex/Jo hate.
