I had a dream that Derek returned to Seattle, but Meredith was in surgery, so Derek ended up in another surgery (the patient was played by Matthew Davis from TVD ). Meredith and Derek were in a race against the clock, both trying to save their patients... then my cat knocked my tv out before the last 2 minutes. I found it online, though. The episode ended with Meredith staring at Derek saying, "What are you doing here?"

I guess I'm terrified now that Shonda is going to go to great lengths to make Meredith feel like she doesn't need Derek, and Meredith will only push him farther away. Hopefully we get a good ending. Splitting up the show's core couple would ruin the show.

We can be extraordinary together rather than ordinary apart. I hope Shonda hasn't forgotten that line.

I think Meredith's fear is that Derek will find a young intern (like he did with her) in DC or that she's better off without him. Personally, I would prefer the first, because that one can easily be discredited. The other option is far more complicated, which is why I'm afraid it's the second one because Meredith has been so complicated this season...

I am not going to watch live, but I think I will check online.

Hope we'll see them work things out and will be stronger than ever in the end. I am hoping the Extraordinary line will come up again this season again.

Still dont know if I am gonna watch live...I guess I will and I'd pay attention or not depending of how things goes.

Yeah, I fear that SR would go the route in which Meredith feels like she is better off without Derek, which actually would destroy 11 seasons of history of them. I hope she doesnt go that route but obvioulsy I dont really trust her or "the process" like the production assistant told me once...sometimes I feel really tired hope something happens tonight to pick me up of the dark and twisty place I am in!

I do hope it wont go there...I do hope they show MerDer fighting for their marriage. I mean, do SR and Co, really think people cant live together and have a happy marriage? MerDer history made them the best to show that that's possible...

I hope the "fear" is they cant get things back to the way it used to be.. But that is probably too easy

Probably normal fears like they don't make it work. Derek wants to stay there forever. They grow apart etc
I'm sure MerDer will do fine in the end. It's just angst for us to watch

I still wonder what could make him stay....which I know I am getting ahead because we still dont know for sure when is he coming back....or why....

At least even with fear or not their storyline will pick up again and move somewhere.. better than being stuck like it is now.
