- Because she went to Izzie to find out what was wrong
- Because she sat beside her and rubbed her back
- Because she understands her
- Because Izzie wanted Bailey to hold her hand
- Because Izzie said "Thank you" to Bailey and Bailey winked at her
- Because Izzie needed a Mom and Bailey was right there
- And - being a mother herself - Bailey can relate to Izzie on another level and understands the fear of seeing your child so sick.
- Because Bailey helped Izzie finally come around after Denny died.

will do. yeah they're scenes tonight were great. i loved when izzie basically told bailey she would give her the money for the clinic and bailey just said "izzie stevens...?" sounding like "are you serious?"

I really love these two together. I loved how Bailey saw Izzy in the room and came over and asked if she was okay. Aww. And I loved also how Izzy said that she'd fund the clinic. I can see some really great scenes developing among the two.

yuy guys are added. i also loved when bailey said she wanted izzie to come back and stopped her from making anymore cupcakes.

I loved the scene where Izzy comes up to Bailey and tells her she's both a surgeon, and does get emotionally involved. And Bailey accepts that. So cute

yes. and when she quit, bailey was the first one to call her name. she obviously never wanted her to leave. even though she tried to act like it in the season 3 premiere.

I'm really glad to see these two are going to have an opportunity for more scenes together, and for such a great cause. I'm sure this is going to be an interesting storyline for the both of them, and I personally am looking forward to it...

I'm with ya . In many ways the do carry the same traits, but I loved it. There is such a mother/daughter vibe I get from these two .

i know, i totally felt that way today too. Bailey was like Izzy's mom.. and when she offered Izzy her hand when Izzy didn't have anyone else.. aww She was so protective of her, also.
