Back on ATWT, Zach Roerig (Matt, The Vampire Diaries) and Alexandra Chando (Emma, Sutton, The Lying Game) did an interview and this is really cute about them and Jesse.

AC: Some people you have a really good connection with and other people, as good actors as they are, you just can't connect with them. I like working with Jesse (Lee Soffer, Will). I get lost in his eyes. We'll do scenes and I'll be looking right into his eyes and i'll lose my lines.
ZR: I like working with Jesse but i have a hard time.
SOW: You get lost in his eyes too?
ZR: No (laughs). We start messing around and it's not too good for me because i'm like A.D.D.

And as for the Zach part ( btw, I managed to watch S1 of VD just bc of him), a proof how funny and social and easy going Jesse is...

And I almost forget that Alexandra and Jesse was in the same show. I don't know how people can hate Jesse. I mean he worked since childhood to afford his school/university, and only after that he continued his acting career. Maybe that's why he is so down to earth.

I don't believe there are actually people who may even dislike him, let alone hate.

He's very warm and appealing person. Like you want to be in his presence all the time the minute you meet him.

He's one of the good ones. Attractive, talented, down to earth, good natured, funny. One of the people you'd love to have as your buddy...at least..

I think him and Sophia are very much alike. Except she's def more, like outgoing.

He just seems to get more....manly along the years, especially since CPD. More rough around the edges. More defined if you know what I mean.
