"I think it just felt to everybody like, well, what are we going to keep putting it off for?" Bush says. "Eventually adults that love and care about each other are going to start loving on each other."

The biggest question that remains is whether Lindsay and Halstead will continue to date even if they start working together again. "They clearly are, romance aside, great partners, so home and work have to stay separate in that universe and I think the fans will really enjoy seeing that," Bush says. "When they're home, there gets to be a very different energy and a very different side to the two of them."

I hate the place they're in on the show and last night's episode didn't make me feel any better. :cry: Hopefully next week will focus a little more on them.

I don't know was me or did Voight's comment to Jay seem unfair? Maybe I need to watch the episode again, but I didn't see where their personal problems were affecting their jobs.

Erin and Jay forever; I sure hope this distance b/w them doesn't last that long b/c I love their chemistry so much and they already been thru a lot already so writers please keep their romantic relationship going it adds a lot to the show. Sophia/Jesse are "magic" on the screen together and they have so many fans.

Please add me to the list I'm a strong loyal fan of them together.

so they cut a scene out where jay tells erin about his ptsd and he also tells her that he's getting help. sophia said this on her twitter.

I saw that too. That seems like a pretty significant scene to cut. That would have tied some things together.

I didn't like last night's scenes between these two :( it seems like they broke up IMO! And now they're saying they cut a scene?! Omg. Do these writers not know we love our ships! Hello :rant:

Voight's comment to Jay was a bit harsh but in reality, it's just straight fact. Voight has made it very clear that he doesn't want anyone dating in his department but he does acknowledge that Jay is good for Erin so if they do have conflict, Voight would obviously chose Erin over Jay.

I hope they work this out and soon! Plus I need to see that scene :mad:
