Thank you Jess...so Lana will be involved in Cary's case....will she try to have him killed by Bishop like she did with Kalinda?

Also "Reena Booth"...it can't be a coincidence!

Oh, absolutely. I guess I didn't make my point very clear, which was that the stuff with Alicia and her campaign is so isolated from all of that and it seems like something she should be discussing in some way with her partners. I was glad to see her and Cary talking about his future at the firm and I appreciated both their POVs. It just feels like the show wants it both ways by having Alicia pursue running for office but they aren't exploring how messy it makes all of her other professional relationships at this point. And it's not like Diane and Cary aren't intelligent, informed individuals who read the paper and would know that she has announced she's running. They don't have to show every discussion that the three of them have, but it just seems like this was kind of a big one to have happen off-screen. By opting to go that route, it makes Alicia seem inconsiderate (at best).

I'm not sure about Geneva; I could see it go either way. She and Cary have definitely had their ups and downs over the years.

Lana involved in Cary's case was something I was dreading/fearing.

Very interesting spec on Blake's potential involvement, Ty, and good catch on Reena Booth in the character list. As much as I disliked Blake, I really enjoyed Cary and Kalinda's story related to the indictment, so I'm curious about exploring some of that further.

Moloch, what made you think that the evidence from Cary's case could damage Peter and Alicia? Is that a prior spoiler? (I was spoiler-free for a while and I think I still have gaps...) I wonder if it could be as simple as Bishop bankrolling her campaign coming out at some point - that would obviously be damaging for her and also would look horrible for Peter even if he knew nothing about it.

Arista, yes, this piece of evidence that could damage Peter and Alicia is something that will come up in the next episode

And you're right, it definitely could be that: I was thinking of something from the past for some reason, just because this show likes to do it

Yeah. I fear that the theory about Kalinda being forced to leave because Cary could be right. Cary's career and life would be completely ****ed up if he was forced to help FBI. Plus he knows really little about Bishop's drugs affairs so I suppose they'd sent him in some suicide mission to set Bishop up. And even if he would be able to survive to this he should probably live in witness protection mode for a lot of time and myabe for all his life because Bishop could easily have him being killed even from the jail. On the other hand we know that Kalinda last season was ready to quit his job, that she already faked his death once and that she's more used than Cary to drastic chages of life and I can see her doing something to take Cary's place and spare him from being completely crushed by that story.
The good thing about Lana being involved in Cary's story is that it will be probably mostly about it. And since Jill Flint was contracted for 3 eps arc it also means that after those 3 we won't see her again. Problem here is that does it mean that we also won't see Kalinda again?

Question: Please tell me Cary isn’t going back to jail on The Good Wife. I’m not a fan of prolonged prison storylines, even though I’m sure the Kings would no doubt find a way to make it compelling. —Kim
Ausiello: I would tell you that Cary isn’t headed back to the pokey if I could. But I can’t. Partly because I don’t actually know, and also because the show is currently casting a role that leads me to believe a long jail sentence may indeed be in his future. The character is Tim, and he’s a “prison consultant” who is hired to give Cary a day-long session on how to survive in prison (including physical and psychological pointers). Tim’s an ex-convict so he would know.

Got it. Thanks! And yeah, the show definitely likes to bring up previous stuff, as seemingly evidenced by the reappearance of the looong dead Dr. Booth SL. I would totally think that the evidence from the past would be related to the Leela/ONS stuff if that had anything to do with Bishop. I just don't see how things tie together with that, though. Interesting that the Bishop campaign funds come out so soon if that's what it turns out to be.

If we get spoilers that Jill Flint is coming back later in the season, I'll be more worried about her involvement in the Kalinda exit strategy. I can't picture them wasting 2/3 of a season they are paying Archie for by not showing her, and 6x09 should be the last in Lana's 3-ep arc. The Kings also said that they weren't saying goodbye to Kalinda yet and they still had a season with her from the press release. Not that I necessarily trust them, but my initial thought when I read that was it would be extremely stupid of them to be dishonest about this after the shock of Josh Charles' exit last year.

OMG, that AA spoiler really shocked me at first. I'm still not sure what to make of it. I guess it doesn't necessarily mean that he's back in prison...yet. But it does sound like perhaps someone (the firm, the FBI?) is prepping him for the strong possibility of it. Poor Cary! I am completely terrified by the idea of the FBI or whoever using him to get to Bishop. Should be interesting to see who they cast for the part of Tim. I wonder what episode the role is for - I guess the threat of prison or death will be hanging over Cary for longer than I initially expected.

The AA spoiler could be a big one. They could just be having him meet with him as a precaution too.

I have only caught a glimpse of all your recent posts and from what I saw I'm beginning to think I should no longer visit this thread! The next episodes are going to be big and I want to be surprised!! So, we'll see each other in the other threads!

(Although it's nearly impossible not getting spoiled, if I keep surfing the Internet for all TGW stuff! I'll try!)

I used to be a huge spoiler junkie and was spoiled on all my shows, these days I am only spoiled on TGW and only because that is part of my job description.
