Why am I not surprised that Alan Dale is the first - and probably will be the only - OC actor to come out and say the age difference between Mischa and Ben was inappropriate.

I'd be surprised if anyone else spoke out indicating they believed Ben's behavior was wrong.

And really, more should. It's a too-common problem in Hollywood - older guys getting involved with younger girls to the point where it's GOING to be imbalanced. It's essentially impossible for a 17 year old and a 24 year old to have a balanced relationship.

And Mischa WASN'T unusually worldly. She was unusually sheltered. She'd never even had a boyfriend. She'd lived in a bubble where she didn't have a lot of normal teenage girl experiences.
