Scott Peterson is such a big example of that. Why do so many people try to insist he's innocent? HE IS SO NOT, Y'ALL. At some point, when circumstantial evidence can wallpaper the country, you probably should start paying attention to it.

Scott Peterson is one where I can see how he was attractive once upon a time, and I do believe he is very manipulative, but he's a CASE STUDY on why you should not fall for that schtick, lol.

It's made worse by the fact that they obviously trusted him. They even defended him early on.
