Mischa's obviously that free-spirited character who brings the broken guy back to life [in a way, you know?], but for a change it looks like Kat has some darkness/sadness to herself, as well - instead of just the guy. And in those other movies I just listed, the Kat characters doesn't have those other layers to them. Not to say, they weren't good characters, just something I picked up on from the extended DFA promo. And that was just my long-winded way of saying just how much I'm already loving Kat [this coming from someone who rarely ever likes the female characters, lol]. Mischa's performance looks so powerful.

The first thing I thought of was, maybe he's imagining/dreaming that he was the one who was shot, instead of his friend...? Although, I'd rather that not be the case.

Don’t Fade Away, from New Films International, is called a “new acquisition” on the website, even though it’s not really “new.”
Hopefully, this new preview is a sign that the movie will be released eventually. If the movie preview becomes available on YouTube, I will post it here.
Here is a description of the plot: Life was easy for Jackson White. With looks, brains, and athletic ability,the world’s possibilities seemed limitless. But, when he came to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the music industry, he was so seduced by money and status that he lost track of who he was. Now, with both his personal and professional lives on the edge of ruin, he’s been called home to care for his dying father. While in North Carolina, he’ll have to confront the friends he lost track of and the girl he never met.

Watching the 10-minute preview, you learn that Mischa’s character Kat really falls for Jackson (Kwanten), but worries that her past will affect them. Jackson also doesn’t want to move from LA.
I want to watch this film just to see Bridges’ storyline because it looks like an emotional rollercoaster and I like those kind of movies, even if they are sad.

YESSSSSSSSSS. The movie finally has a distributor now - Roxbury Entertainment - which I guess is why we are finally starting to see solid movement on the project.
