Yep, both ran for 5 seasons

Southland had shorter seasons and he was allowed to write and direct episodes with Gotham, which I'm also sure helped.

Ben was kind of done with The OC by S2, lol, but then again, the writing for Ryan went way down way fast.

Josh was, at the end of the day, lazy with everyone. You got somewhat more to do if you were better at his kind of humor (Adam, Rachel, Mindy, Peter) but it wasn't like...good.
