It didn't really help that it seemed like neither party knew each other all that well, so it was really hard to buy the show trying to sell them as being in love with each other,

95% of their scenes were completely platonic in S1 as well

Honestly, if they'd been more candid that it was less about Jake and more about her working out her own Mommy issues with Jenny, that might've made more sense.

Felt it was pretty last minute and had to cram a lot into a few episodes because of Bryan's schedule.

He did a better job with Julian in 1 episode than with Jake in 2 seasons

I think Bryan played off them fine as long as it wasn't in a romantic way, lol

Austin played off Chad very well (a lot of their scenes were hilarious) and him & Hil arguably had better chemistry than Sophia and Austin.

There was one scene where Julian was like, writing some taunt on a table in salt? And Lucas just blew on it as he walked out and for whatever reason, that scene always made me laugh.
