Philando Castile is another example. He literally was doing NOTHING WRONG and we have it on TAPE, and they still acquitted the cop who killed him. So Philando's existence represents a legitimate threat that allows one to kill him with no legal consequences? WHAT?

I can understand not going for second degree murder, although I personally think I could have gotten there with the 911 call, but to not even convict him for manslaughter???? "Stand Your Ground" shouldn't apply when YOU INSTIGATED THE CONFRONTATION. If anyone was eligible for that law, it should have been Trayvon, who was a kid being chased down by a maniac.

It's stuff like that, and how LGBT people are being targeted as "groomers", that's why I refuse to accept that just saying "black people's lives matter" and "LGBT people should not be harassed and targeted" are purely political statements. They're not. They're moral statements.
