yeah imagine how well it could have turned out with better promo!
I can't imagine that Kelly would be pleased with that
Even RCA gave each of her singles a music video!

Is this always to blame on labels? Or also on management? What do they arrange in these kind of things?

You'd think so but if they don't promote it that means less work for her to squeeze into her already full schedule? I don't know...

So they'd overwork her just to sell? I'd like to think that she has some say so if she's said no, its too much, she can't do it, then they'd listen not book her for things she can't do & overwork her

My point of view comes from Kelly's standpoint - that she'd stop them even though it may hurt her selling music, simply because she can't do it. Not from the label's point of view or if they care about her doing other things (which at that time her talk show wouldn't have come into but will now)


I do however completely agree that I don't think they care about those things. But they do have to put up with her doing them. The talk show they probably can work with as they can use her/it to promote their other artists on. Then the more people who see her show, the more who may check out her music for them, which may help her as an artist which may benefit them

it could help benefit her and in a way the Voice helps her too because so far she's done a single each season I believe.. even tested Medicine in her S14 debut
