Reba's always been a mentor or available & looked out for new country artists or at least as far as I know. So I'm sure she's amazing at least when it comes to that side of things.

By 'mentor' I wasn't meaning on the show, I meant in life. She has been that sort of person long before the show came along (Kelly is an example of one of the upcoming artists Reba looked out for). Sorry if my wording was confusing.

Reba's also been a mentor on the show a couple of times though, yes . She was one for Blake's team in the first season, for all coaches in season 8 & then again for last season (23). Last season would've been the only time she mentored Team Kelly. I wouldn't be surprised though if she was picked because they were trying to get her to be the replacement coach since they knew Blake was leaving (& possibly knew Kelly was going too). Or Blake got to pick since it was his final season, but then I don't know if she would've been his first choice. It is a nice mirror though that she was his first & his last.

Wrong side of the country unfortunately now. Then don't think the timing would work out as the seasons for The Voice are on at the same time as her talk show.
