Moderator Opening Announcement - Possible Board Closure - Extended
 Hi everyone! We currently have an open moderator position on this message board. If you become a moderator here, you'll be joining a great community who'll provide you a support network and add to the fun of being a moderator. If you'd like to apply for this position and if you have any questions about the requirements, please go to the Moderator Application Process - How to Apply & Questions Answered thread and follow the instructions to apply to be a moderator on this board. Please note that the deadline to get applications in is 6:00 PM GMT on Apr 21st. If you don't receive a confirmation Private Message within 24 hours after you have emailed your application, please send a Private Message to Chris. Please note the following: If no qualified candidates apply to moderate this board, it will be closed. Every board here needs permanent moderators, and we can't have Moderator Support Team Members moderating any board indefinitely. Therefore, if no qualified candidates apply to moderate this board by the application deadline date, a closure notice will be posted on the board the Sunday following the application deadline date, and the board will be closed one week from when the closure notice is posted. If the people that post on this board want it to remain here, then someone needs to step up and apply to moderate it. Please don't use this thread as a “campaign thread” for someone you think should get the position, because we want everyone that's interested in the position to apply. so sorry to see that the board may close...
After turning sick earlier this year with migraines and such, I haven't recovered 100%, when I began to feel better I had covid last week and that is putting a whole drain on my energy level again.. So sorry I wasn't able to stop by... I am so sorry to see this happening to the board I hope you find a co-mod Chelle..__________________

It would be heartbreaking for the board to close, however with the decline in activity over the last few months - especially these past around two months without Karen - it is hard to see the future of this board going much further. If it were up to me I'd like to see this board continuing on for many more years as I love this board & Kelly. We just reached 17 years this month & I'd like to see us reach a lot more milestones. I do not want the board to close. But I also know that I can't post alone. I can moderate this board alone, I've done it before briefly & I've done it on two other boards, so I'd do it again. But I can't post alone. I would also love having a co-mod here too so please apply if you're interested. I've seen this board go through a lot of ups & downs so I'm not prepared to say goodbye or that the board is dying. I will fight for it so long as people want it to be here In saying that though I just had over two days of not really being on while I spent time with family for my birthday Karen  sorry you've been so unwell & then got covid too __________________
