That would be nice. To be fair... with all the comparisons, they've rarely been in the same room let alone ever had a full conversation, as far as I know. Obviously they've been at the same awards shows, but even for Idol stuff, the only thing I remember them both being at was maybe that Idol Experience thing at Disney, and maybe Idol Gives Back. I think they were also maybe at a Radio Disney thing within the past couple years?

Carrie has been on the show before, but it was via video. I think that thats the only public conversation we know about. They have done at least two Idol related things as you mentioned. According to the OP they had twitter conversations but that doesn't mean much

Then also wouldn't surprise me with all that Kelly has going on if she didn't know what else was being released around then. Plus they probably both didn't actually pick their release dates for their albums

The only truth I can believe in it is the quote I'm pretty sure is from Carrie & the line "The constant comparisons drive them crazy."

Yeah, honestly, I think the constant comparisons diminish their talent and all the hard work they've put in. The only main thing they have in common is they're both girls who won Idol, and they sometimes cross genres. That's about it.

Exactly. People can't help themselves though. Sometimes they've both got blonde hair too. Doesn't mean they need to be compared. I feel like none of the other idols get it like this either too which annoys me. But ever since Carrie won there seems to be this pitting against each other thing which is stupid & doesn't come from either of them

Exactly! It isn't a competition. It is their lives. They've both got talent, they've both put hard work into things they're passionate about

I like it. Feels a bit cheesy country at times, as well as a bit like some of her previous albums.
