I'm just at a loss of emotions. I have good moments & work is good, but then its hard. Then I'm struggling to actually post this but Rae passed away on Sunday so I've been talking to some of her family & reading responses on here when I told the Graphics & Management Teams what happened since she used to be a part of them. It just isn't fully sinking in & all unbelievable. I'm kinda numb I guess is the best word?

That's what we had when my boyfriend's dad died so suddenly..

Oh my gosh, I have no words. Chelle, I am so sorry to hear that, Rae was such an important part of our community here on , and I know you and her were so close both on and off the board. I know she was so excited to be getting a job and such... wow, that's such a shock. Difficult to process on my end... can't imagine how it is for you.

Hope you get some answers. Even though it doesn't change anything, sometimes it helps to know what exactly happened...

maybe, I don't know . I said my goodbyes to her in April & we'd barely been in touch since - other than when she was giving her opinion (via me) on the candidates for the position here. Which by the way she was happy for you both when you got it . You could say that we'd grown too codependent on each other that we needed to go our separate ways for a while. Now it is just separate ways forever

answers do help, they can bring closure

it is funny
it isn't even that cold yet (& compared to other countries we've got nothing ). We're still mid-high teens during the day (we use Celcius here), but in the morning it has been below 10 when I'm heading to work. Plus the wind seems to have ice in it . Its a combination of that & washing my hands & using gloves constantly at work which destroys my hands. I had bubble mixture going all over my hands today & cold wind blowing on it & I didn't appreciate it

It's around the twenties here.. that's fairly warm here... It gets really hot here when it's 30 or higher

if your hands are very sensitive towards cold weather I can imagine it's no fun. My mom has that too and sometimes I have that too.. I love using some hand cremes and such in times like that!

Its hot here when its late 30s, or worse early 40s (which is thankfully rare) . Well its hot as soon as it reaches the 30s but it can get worse. But on average the temperature during the day seems to stay between 15 & 35 degrees all year. It doesn't really go below 5 degrees, even overnight, in winter so we're pretty lucky there

I do but they still get really dry . I've heard of special cream which you put on & then gloves at night but I've never tried that
