Aliens has Wrapped
 

So I guess since AiA has wrapped for the season there won't be any new episodes. Does anyone know how many more will be airing?

They've got three more to at least film soon -- I don't think they've filmed them yet. And hopefully the strike will end before it begins (or shortly thereafterwards) and then the CW will announce that they have signed up all for a full season -- for what 6 more episodes?

If there is no break of episodes, the 13th episode should be aired on December 24th.

I think this is a more PG show - esp. w/reruns on Sunday eves at 7:30 ... meaning it won't be SHO - but it's going to be hot - and comical. I'm counting on it!! He was SO sweet talking to Raja last week. When Gary and Franny kiss (4 times last week!!) it's not RR or limo scene ... but they don't twist and turn - they really kiss each other on the lips! It's great!!
Scott's facial expressions are so funny in this show, I've started thinking he'd have been one of the best silent film stars ever ... but then we wouldn't get to hear all the great ways he modulates his voice. Even Gary's!
The studio has ordered 14 so far as I know ... but Variety reported that the CW's "sophomore" shows are flopping, so who knows? We may get 22. Season's not over until May or June '08.

I was kidding comparing the sex scenes in shows like Weeds and AiA, I doubt you'll even see that on network TV especially in primetime! But it is weird that Weeds is on Cable in the US but here in Australia it's on network TV at 10:30 (along with Californication at 9:30) same night different network here. Yes we got to see Madeline Zima bounce on David Duchovny at 9:30 on network TV!

I hope AiA gets a full season pickup and I see it as inevitably given the buzz about the show and the network it's on but it might come down to the writers strike!

I'm betting the CW is kicking it's self for not signing ASP for 2 years and for not doing more to get GG back!

I doubt they will do that. Isn't December for reruns? What I remember from GG is that the last episode would air around late November/early December and the next new episode wouldn't be until late January. :look:

But it depends on a lot of things, they may want to try something new in the new year or be forced to do more reality shows or re-runs. I'm thinking AiA will end Nov 26, leaving 4 eps for the Feb sweeps if needed. and if they have the scripts and can shoot the other 3 then they could be saved for May. So if the strike drags on be prepared for lots of re-runs or other shows to fill the gaps!

Shame they couldn't re-shoot that with Scott actually there!

Yep the Scott pic is from the final season of GG, I mean would it take a lot to have them recreate the picture, they can set it up and then just need the actors for a few minutes.

They should do it, looks like they'll have plenty of free time with the strike!

I hope they do a Christmas episode, that would be so cute, I would love to see Gary and Franny snuggled by the fire with their stockings hanging up. Gary kissing her under the mistletoe, decorating the tree.....wait this is my fantasy Christmas with Scott:lmao::lmao:
