Lots of people are.

I wonder how many countries are airing it yet, apart from the US and Canada.

Brilliant Disguise 11-20-2007 12:47 AM

I haven't seen or read anything about it airing here...

Mine finished within 10 minutes :goof: I am watching it soon

I know a local network has the rights but this is the same one still stuck on the start of season 6 of Gilmore Girls and has a history of delaying or not even showing shows it has the rights to. It also has the rights to Gossip Girls which is is airing new year, but it will air on pay TV first in a few weeks.

BTW - I'm stuck with a 128k connection speed which works out to about 12kbs or about 4 hours to DL 175Mb. I think I need ADSL!

Love this weeks and I know it's standard sitcom format but I love how Gary and Fran talk before the ep is over.

Still weird to see 'Luke' acting goofy but i'll get over that because this show just keeps getting better.

crazyboutscott 11-20-2007 06:13 AM

I agree that the show is getting better and better. I hope the ratings show that this week too.

SPA 11-20-2007 07:12 AM

I am enjoying the "off-centered" humor each week. Nothing is automatic. I seemed to be surprised -- some pleasingly so -- others, just like a delayed reaction of "wow". From time to time I have to say "this is a sitcom, a comedy" and also have to remind myself that this isn't a drama or dramedy like GG. But I concur, the show improves each week -- and it stuck to me on the very first episode. Gary is wonderful to watch and Raja is still my favorite character of the show (though Gary is a very close second).

AUSTRIA 11-20-2007 08:53 AM

What do you think is better for the show ratings in the US?
More from Gary and Fran
ore more from the boys and Claire?

SPA 11-20-2007 09:32 AM

Double post again -- FF is acting up on me at the office. I wonder if it's my office's system acting weird. Sorry

I think the interweaving of all the characters with almost the same amount of time will keep the show thriving. If the show is geared to just the boys only, you may not get and keep the younger age group for very long (attention spans because of the geek factor); and if it's geared too much on the parents you may keep the adult audience, but I don't think that they are the majority of the audience. You know what's weird? I don't think that the "family base" meaning whole families watching the show -- are the majority base either -- if anything, it's even less. So, if there's a mixture of all the characters, which we now all know and have our own degree of likeness/dislikeness for -- it will keep all age groups continuing to tune in -- at minimum intermittently and at best will be watching it weekly with fervor.

I'm not sure what the television stats are saying -- this is just my take on it.

I just hope they make a full season and maybe a second one?:
With more Gary (Scott) i would have no problem :D

And I also hope, that we will get AiA here on television!:look:

I think they will. It's a typical Saturday afternoon tv show.

I have to agree that a balance between all the characters is the best way to go, especially in a show like this :)

I didn't know that.

So is it on anywhere else?

That's what I'm afraid will happen here, or they'll use it to fill in 30 minutes in the middle of the night.

As of today, when I looked on my DVR schedule for Aliens, they have the pilot episode listed for Dec. 3rd.

according to this list next week is the last before xMas, does that mean next weeks is the xMas ep?

crazyboutscott 11-21-2007 09:20 PM

I hope they sell the first season on DVD. I wonder if they will do that if it does not get picked up for a second season. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it comes back!

lancer1993 11-21-2007 09:27 PM

IMO even if it doesn't come back it's likely to come out on DVD at some point.

crazyboutscott 11-21-2007 09:37 PM

lancer from your lips to whoever makes that decision's ears!
