“When I first wrote the pilot I knew that Peyton was going to listen to albums instead of be
like really high-tech, I wanted her to be a little bit old school, and I knew I wanted her room
to be red. And I had this idea - putting faces on the wall. Because I thought that Peyton was
someone who sort of felt like she wasn’t seen, like people didn’t really see the real Peyton.
And so we did a lot of things, like the collage in her closet had lot of eyes on it, and we had a
lot of faces, you know, sort of passing judgment in a way. [..] Peyton’s room has evolved

Agreed. When I watched 2.01 for the first time, they were actually the only characters I liked. Peyton looked pretty, but spent all her time in this ep with the brunette bore, so I didn't like her instantly. It came during the next few eps and skyrocketed in 2.10 during the locker scene.

Besides Jake, what characters would you have guest characters would have gotten rid of to keep them around for longer?

The OP looks lovely.

Re: fave sl, Idk. Maybe thud. I wish it didn't go away so quickly. I would have liked for Peyton to discover that she's not that great at art and then refocus her energy on something else, without feeling bad about trying art in the first place.

Mouth's screentime could have been non-existent too, as far as I'm concerned. But also, in general (meaning, all season), I would have less NH screen time and more Haley/her parents screen time.
