I hope it's not just that she's getting a new car because of the baby, after everything that car has meant to them and he wrote whole freaking book about how much he loved the comet , to get rid of it casually would suck. I really hope this is a sign of no season 7.

The Comet was in 604 during that Peyton/Mick scene when he walks her to her car.

And, they do have that spare Comet sitting around that they could crash. Hmmm.

Sorry, I read your post after I sent mine

But if we think about it, it could be a sort of throwback to the Pilot.
Only that back then Luke was introduced in the show getting almost hit by Peyton's car ... and now he could leave the show getting into a crash with the same car.

The seller could have just made a good guess when filming was going to end.

I don't get why it's being considered a fake. The seller has a history on eBay (feedback of 15+), the listing goes into details about the history, appearance, mileage, guts, etc. Other than the poor spelling/puntuation, it doesn't seem far fetched? I guess the only way to tell for sure is to ask the seller to take a picture of the car, along with his/her ebay ID, or the current date.

I think thats a real one only because we've seen Hil in the comet or next to it in only one scene.

I wonder if there's any legitimate reason for them not using the Comet so much this year. Unless the owner doesn't work for the show anymore or something.

It looks legit to me too. Alot of detail about the car for it to be a fake, especially that first listing.

But then why would the seller have to wait until after filming? Maybe it is just easier to not have to transport cars everywhere for filming and it saves them that hassle for filming?

Someone should ask the seller why the car won't be needed on the show anymore past filming for this current season.

Maybe the seller has some sort of contract saying he can't dispose the property until such and such time.
