Lol. And I don't remember when that scene was taking place either. Could have been after school I guess. I remember part of Peyton's dialogue being about how Brooke went home.

NH mostly, I just wasn't invested in their relationship at all.

Though I admit I liked them best that season. And not into BL, obviously but they weren't that bad in s1.

True, BL romantically was a lot worse in Seasons 2 and 3 than it was in S1.

The only two thing that really bugged me a lot about BL in s1 is that Peyton's almost date rape was a plot device for them getting closer and that Peyton was not allowed to have any resentment towards them for how they hooked up. Other than that, they were incredibly boring but far more bearable in s2 and 3.

I feel you on that one. There were times I forced myself to appreciate them in some way. But I eventually gave up because their scenes mostly leave me like this

. I just don't see enough spark between J/J to get me invested. Plus, their story is one my most hated cliches ever, told in a very bad and boring way.

The latter was the only thing that bothered me about S1 BL, but they were more bearable then compared to S2 and 3 since they weren't trying to sell an crappy version of 'true love' in S1.

At least in s1 they weren't trying to sell it as a love story like they tried later on.

It was always pretty obvious he was still in love with Peyton and had more in common with her than Brooke.
