Also agreed about s2 vs 5. Prefer the latter for all the reasons you mentioned. But completely understand why the level of toxicity between LP in that season would make someone hate it the most.

I feel you on that one. Though I can't help but only at that theory. As well as the accompanying one that Lucas was only interested in Peyton because he wanted what Nathan had. Far-fetched, to say the least. Alternative interpretations are nice, but not if you are self-serving and reductive. And possibly directly contradicting canon (Peyton calls Lucas before she finds out about his date with Brooke, if I rember correctly). Kudos for writers for predicting those "interpretations" and refuting them though, I guess.

Yeah, that theory makes me laugh considering Lucas not wanting her only made Brooke want him more, but also because she never would have gone after him to begin with if he never joined the basketball team. Both theories are pretty far-fetched since LP wanted each other before Nathan and Brooke were in the picture respectively

Brooke always pulls that crap. She was exactly the same way with Owen in s5 (except she was dressed ing his backseat, that's ~growth in oth writers' world). Surprisingly, it didn't work out in the end either . Maybe stop going after dudes who you have barely anything in common with and who aren't that into you to begin with.

I honestly like different things about the deleted bench scene and the library scene. They were both great for different reasons and I like them equally. Glad they chose the library one since it was a more intimate setting and it made more sense for the storyline. It would've been weird if they were kissing in public given the situation.

Didn't LP kiss after school at the end of 1x13? I thought it wasn't that crowded but maybe my memory isn't serving me right.

Happened in PLL too. They'd have big conversations about the stalker they were trying to keep secret while they were in the school bathroom without actually checking no one was in there, or when their parents were pretty much in the same room.
