I clicked on it and it massed emailed all my contacts saying I was away on vacation in Spain and I don't have the money to go back. The next day I can't access my email so I had to change my password. It was very weird but I learned my lesson not to go click-happy with unfamiliar links, sites, etc.
Oh no, that sounds awful. A lot of viruses get spread through e-mail so it's better not to open anything you're not familiar with. I've always deleted all junk mail without opening them. It's good to remind us of the risks of e-mail too!

Yep, you just have to be very careful with it.

You have to select "Reply with Quote" and then copy the content minus the quote codes.
Thanks!

I always delete email if it's not from someone in my address book. Can't be too safe.

What version of IE do you have? What are the popups like, are they only on certain websites or always there in general when IE is opened?
Perhaps check the control panel for suspicious looking programs or ones that were downloaded around the time the problem started occurring. If it's specific enough that you can do a Google search of it, there can be many solutions to your issue.

pictures posted are not showing up - they have to post a link before I can see them. Just a blank white space in that post.

Hi thumper1944, I would love to help you with your issue. If you could tell me, what browser do you use, the version, and which operating system you have? (example, Mac OS, or Windows 8) Also, does this problem only happen on FF, or is it on every website? I would recommend trying to use a different web browser (like Chrome or Firefox) and see if the problem persists.

Hi thumper1944. Are you talking about all pictures that are posted here or the Twitter/Instagram embedding?
