Ran some errands yesterday. Found some deals in the grocery store. Got a package of discounted hamburger. Cooked it up for future meals and used a bit for a lasagna.

I took some time off today after a tiring week so that was nice. Ran errands and did my taxes and had a nice lunch out.

Mel - it's nice to be able to treat yourself. Tax season is barely starting here. Our taxes aren't due until the end of April.

Norman - oh, lemon cake sounds yummy! Makes me think of lemon meringue pie, and I haven't had that in a really long time.

Waiting for hubby to get up to have breakfast. Last night he requested eggs, so I don't mind having a later breakfast.

Chris, I like crocuses but I haven't planted any. I planted tulips, anemones and muscari.

I went to a big supermarket yesterday and found lots of herb seeds so I bought 7 different kinds.

I saw the new Mean Girls movie today. I also shopped for a bday gift for my niece. Doing some laundry now. Also put a roast and potatoes in the crockpot and it’s smelling good.

Julie - you're going to have a nice variety of spring flowers. My muscari have spread out nicely, which is fine by me.

Mel - did your roast taste as good as it smelled? I've been doing my roasts in the crockpot too. It's nice to have the prep all done and just serve things up at suppertime.

Norman - what kind of soup?

I bought a piece of salmon to bbq for our supper tonight.

Chris - Yes it turned out great. And definitely easy/convenient doing it in the crockpot.

I love salmon.

Had breakfast with and spent time with my sister today. Then I dropped off the bday gift for my niece and spent time with my brother.
