Yikes, I had two wasps in my suite this morning and not even sure how they both got in my place, other than assuming my SIL and kids keep doors and windows open upstairs. Anyway, I got one to fly out my window, but the second one is being too stubborn and just staying on the glass side of my window instead of the screen so I can open that and it can fly outside

I’m just hoping me and my cat don’t get stung. Especially since the wasp is staying in the window where my cat likes to sleep.

Oh no! Wasps are terrible. I used to see a lot of them when I lived in the South.

I hope everyone has had a good weekend! I ended up not having internet access.

I hate wasps! Did you manage to get rid of them? If not, putting out a small amount of a sweet liquid might attract and drown them.

Lizzy - yikes! Glad you've got it sorted now.

It's pouring rain here so I guess I won't be going down to the market in the park this morning.

Yikes, I woke up to about 12 or so baby wasps on the inside of my bathroom window! Um.... yeah, I had to squash each one with TP, ACK, if they grow to adult size, I could have several wasps in my place and I can’t exactly escape to other parts of the house cause it’s not my living area upstairs.

Gonna have to ask my dad for some poison or find the source of the freaking nest. It’s quite discomforting to think about.

Oh... and I’m not selling my pool after all, my SIL decided to set it up so it’s being filled now. Although I’ll have to share my pool with 4 kids. Hopefully. It will stay clean as possible despite that!

Glad you're getting to keep your pool, Leanne. Waking up to all of those baby wasps is terrifying! I hope you find the source and get it fixed soon!

Thanks, Chris!

Leanne - Did you manage to get rid of all the wasps?

I've got an appointment this morning, and will probably wander around downtown a bit afterwards.

So far, there were none today I sprayed poison in my window sill where they seemed to be emerging from!

Today was nice cause I got a luxury pedi at a spa and it included a lower leg and foot massage and I massages!

My feet look pretty now with sparkly blue polish.

Tomorrow I need to try to find a swimsuit since my pool was set up now!

The foot and leg massage with that pedi sounds really nice!

I should call and book myself a massage. Haven't had one for a while.

What does everybody prefer - going to the beach or being at a swimming pool?

I prefer being at the beach but won't say no to going to the pool.

Yes, I need a massage too. I'll probably get one next on my birthday in August.

Go for it, Lizzy and Chris this is called good enabling!

I prefer the pool cause there are chemicals to keep the water more sanitary, but preferably a pool with low volume of others in it when I am. Plus they can be indoors out of the sun. The beach is usually no shade, sand particles everywhere and the ocean or lake water and the creatures in there are less clean and stuff for my preferences!

Yeah, the sand at the beach can be annoying. And the rocky bit when you go to get in before you get to the sandy bottom.

My neice is in labour!
