Happy May Morning all!

Went to our temporary library for the first time just now (the actual library is currently closed and will be for two years, they're taking it down and doing it up again) and is it weird I wish it would stay that way? It's in a basement but the stacks are all good and neat and I want to stay in there forever

Rose - it does sound a bit odd, but it's terrific that you're satisfied with the temporary location. Hopefully you'll be impressed with the new building once it's open.

Good morning!

Despite having to be late to work due to ridiculous traffic, I'm happy cause its such a nice morning with the blue sky and sun that I can wear no jacket finally! I love going places with minimal things to wear! So easy to just leave the house with just my bag! And soon enough, I can wear flip flops and not have to wear socks!

I remember when my city library was building a new place... it was quite a good improvement from what we had before so you will probably still like the new building! But I guess you are saying you like the cozy atmosphere of book stacks close together ?

I like watching cooking shows cause its soothing to me.. the music, the close ups of food, only problem is I want to eat the finished product I see on my screen!

But I do like the temporary set up so I don't mind it so much, even if certain services aren't available while it's like this I can get books sent over from any library in Montreal over to one nearer mine and bring them back to that same one and it'll be sent back, but that's off so long as they're in temporary mode so I go to the next nearest, it's no big deal though

I was having a decent day, til a few moments ago when my cat bit me hard under my arm right above my arm pit. that hurts not only my arm, but my feelings! owwwww, no broken skin (I think) but I'm feeling shooting pinching pain from the near puncture marks. Stupid cat. Can't beleive as nice as I am to him, he still bites/attacks me
