Yeah same. I don't want Delta to change the genre of her music too much.
Plus, I think piano-based songs show off Delta's voice much more than dancey ones do, and Delta has a great voice to show off so it seems to me like a bit of a waste otherwise.  __________________

I would be happy if this album was dance-music influenced. It's not like you don't hear a piano banging away in the background..It still has Delta flavour.

I think a dance-sound album would be a bit of a reach in terms of Delta maintaining most of her current fan base. New look, rockier sound with ITL, simple video has all been quite a bit for people to grasp enough as it is. Growth is natural but she's never had electro-sounding songs before so it seems more like a leap into a new genre rather than a progression.
ETA: Having said that, Im completely biased as I dislike dance music and love Delta and her piano lol. __________________

I don't think the whole new album's gonna be all dance music cuz both of TMH and BIBO are just B-sides. In some articles they also said that the album will be influenced by other UK artists like Sugababes and Dido so the genre of the album will be mixed. I mean a Delta album must have ballads and poppy songs

You make a good point Vi, they both turned up as b-sides..there's got to be a reason for it! Still, I love this new sound, I think it's an excellent direction for her.

Yeah I've ordered the Aussie version and then after Christmas when the UK release is set to happen I'll buy the UK version too. If I can also download the album from Napster/7digital etc, whilst Im waiting for the physical copy to be shipped, I will too.
