I love the scene where she sees her dad on the tv and she puts her hand up to the screen. I was just squaling watching that part. I need to rewatch this movie. Its been so long.

Me too. And the bit when she tells Billy Bob, "I don't have any place else to go." The world is about to blow up, everyone she loves is up on a space ship having big dramas, and he tells her she shouldn't be there. Cry every time.

This is the only movie that never fails to make me cry! Not only tear up, but have tears running down my face and my nose getting all stuffed up. It's always at the same part, too. Liv played Grace beatifully and really believable. I love this movie. I used to watch it every single night before I went to sleep.

Yep, me too. The only thing that stopped me from completely blubbering like a baby the first time I saw it was that I was petrified that the people I was with would catch me! So I distracted myself. "Oh, her dad is just about to die? Gee, thats a pretty sign above the exit. Her boyfriends plane just blew up? Oh, look at the carpet, wonder where I can get some for my place."

Do you get mocked mercilessly if you're caught? Now I only ever watch Armageddon when I'm on my own. Speaking of which, I cannot find my DVD anywhere! I'm sure I brought it with me when I moved. |
