Okay, not much rambling, but... I was watching "Time Stands Still" earlier and couldn't help but notice something...
Look familiar? I mean, clearly a few changes have been made... and there is a chance that I COULD be wrong, but still... __________________

Haha I mentioned this in the recurring character thread...I realized it when I posted a cap of Adams, Darcy, and Clare:
So either The Edwards purchased the Jeremiah/Manning residence in season 6 when Joey moved to Calgary (and basically stored Craig's belongings in their garage until he could pick them up ) or Craig and Darcy were next door neighbors. Who knew? I hope they hired an exterminator though because Craig kept his pet in an aquarium without a lid. His lizard could have found a boyfriend and made lots of babies! (I'm too lazy to dig up caps. My Degrassi secret proves this point just as well.) __________________

Oh, sorry. ^^;
And here I thought I was all awesome for picking up on it. But the Edwards' couldn't have bought the house after Joey left, because according to Clare in Umbrella, she's lived there her whole life. __________________

Hehe it's cool, it's cool. Great minds think alike!
So Craig and Darcy were next door neighbors. This makes me want to go read some fan fics about them as a couple and then imagine scenarios where they sneak next door into each other's bedrooms. Actually I think production just got lazy, reused the set, and didn't think we'd notice. BUT WE DID! __________________

Well, the second house I grew up was essentially modeled after another house a few blocks away in the same neighborhood. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
The whole neighbors thing though brings up an interesting point, we've never really had two cast regulars who were neighbors, have we? Or am I missing someone? __________________

I think they probably only have several house exteriors on the back lot. I can usually recognize the one used for the Edwards/Jeremiah-Manning residence(s). I mean besides for the close-up of the house and then we see one of those characters exit or enter. I seem to remember a shot that looks down a narrow street and we see it. Then I think for other house exteriors they probably just use random shots from around TO to represent characters homes. The only one I can think of where they probably had to rent (or whatever they do) a place would be Albert and Craig Manning's place. I say rent because we actually watched them enter or exit the home. I think it's usually just a quick shot of an exterior and then we see the characters inside the home aka on the set.
It'd be kind of cool to have a collection of pics of the buildings and rooms they have used over the years. I've always had an interest in set design though so maybe it's just me. Blah blah blah...did anyone care to read that? We've had neighbors before! Emma and Chester and his brothers. But then she chased them away and they had to move. __________________

Chester, thankfully wasn't a cast regular, though.
And yeah, the same exteriors being used is one of the little quirks that you notice with the show (similar to the same clothes being worn many times by certain characters). The budgets they have can only get you so far. __________________

I think when Clare stopped with the school girl uniform she might have raided Darcy's closet. I think there's been moments when other girls have worn her clothes as well. The only other moment I can think of is:

^ Oh God... the dolphin pants...
A bit off topic, but I saw my best friend over the weekend and we went to the mall, and she pointed out how the 90s grunge look was making a comeback and stuff. Then we got to talking about how fashion has just been repeating itself for the past couple of decades, and I was just like, "Ugh, and soon those dolphin-print jeans will be back in style!" We also went into a store where they had midriff shirts, and all I could think about was s1 Paige. __________________

I took the TeenNick Valentine's Day quiz for the hell of it.
I got KC. "K.C. knows that relationships aren't always easy, but the good ones are worth fighting for. If you're ever feeling low-self-esteemy (on Valentine's Day or any other time), K.C. will find a way to make you realize how special you are. He might not always be the best boyfriend, but he's trying. He knows you deserve someone who's just as amazing as you are." Great...so because my answers were given on a screw V-day but I will put out frame of mind I have low self-esteem. __________________
