I SAW ADAMS YESTERDAY!! (I mean the actor who played him). I was watching the news and they were interviewing some locals about a killing in a library (). Then Adams came on for like 10 seconds. I got excited

Weird! I wonder what the guy who plays Adams is up to lately. Was he a witness to the shooting? Where was this at? How scary! I always think of libraries as such safe places...books make me feel safe.

I saw Papa Del Rossi on a laundry detergent commercial the other day. It ended with his "wife" putting a sock in his mouth.

Does anyone have a preference for a certain class? Or am I the only one who ends up debating this in my head? I prefer the grade 9 class of Paige, Spinner, Ashley, Craig, Jimmy, Ellie, Marco, Hazel, and Terri over Emma, Manny, JT, Toby, Liberty, and Sean. So it's interesting that with the new DTNG I also prefer the older class of Sav, Holly J, Fiona, Riley, and Anya over the younger classes of Clare, Eli, Adam, Dave, KC, Jenna, Connor, Drew, Alli, Bianca (dudes according to Much she's a grade 11! YES! Stay around 2 more seasons Bianca!) and Wesley (he almost makes up for it!). (I hope I got all those right.) What am I going to do when they graduate?!

I seem to like the older classes more too. although, with this new generation there are a couple exceptions.
last generation the only real exception was JT. and i liked Darcy and Peter. I'm actually shocked that i like the older generation now because Degrassi has a tendency to just ruin characters in their senior year but I think they're doing a really fantastic job with this batch of seniors. |

With the first NTG group, I'm pretty evenly split between the two classes in terms of favorites. The current group? I probably lean more towards the older class, although there's still a few that I really like among the younger group (especially Alli and the Three Tenners- that sounds like a singing group. ).

Does anyone watch the show with their parents? I know we're all a mix of ages but I'm just curious.
My little brother used to be my Degrassi watching buddy until he became too cool. But back during season 2 we'd always be watching. So one night my parents sat down and watched a couple episodes with us. My dad was PISSED about Weird Science. He thought that they shouldn't show Spinner's little problem or even talk about it on TV. That was awkward. He liked Take My Breath Away though. He laughed when Craig was hit in the head with the ball ("That smarts!"). __________________

My mom used to watch Degrassi with me. She hasn't watched it since like s6 though. She liked it. Or rather, she never complained.
My dad will watch it with me if he has nothing better to do. I don't think he really likes it but he can tolerate it. |

My mom watched all through season 7 with me one summer, AND we watched all of DJH and DH. So I think she enjoyed it. Then she tried to watch season 8 when I was at college but she didn't like it, and hasn't watched it since.
My dad has seen only a couple episodes, one being "Time Stands Still." It was kind of on in the background and my dad was pretending that he wasn't watching or didn't care, but then Jimmy got shot and suddenly he was all into it and asking all these questions. But otherwise he doesn't care about Degrassi. He loves Vampire Diaries though (which I've never watched). |

i love getting my parents into shows. For a while, me and my best friend got her mom super into Degrassi. I don't know if her mom still watches it though. |

I've already said this in another thread so I feel like I'm repeating myself. I watched season 1 through...5 (I think) with my sister and then she stopped watching after that because she "had better things to do" and became too cool. So now I'm a loner and have watched by myself ever since then. I can only talk about it and express my excitement and all that stuff online with random strangers.

My mother and I used to love watching My So Called Life. That was one of the last TV shows we were able to enjoy together. I'm convinced if she was still alive (and it we still shared the same roof), she'd watch Degrassi. Or at least would have at some point over the last ten years.
I mentioned this over in the Rivals thread, but my father watched Strange Days at Blake Holsey High. In fact, he's the one that got me turned on to that show. I think he caught it one Saturday morning on NBC and being a bit of a Sci Fi fan, he liked it. __________________
