What if Jatie ends up being like Savvy J who broke up just before graduation? Or like Ownya who broke up after grad?

That would suck. They're not even a couple yet, so if they do become one sometime soon based on episode descriptions, then they'd only have the last half of Season 12 for something to go wrong and for them to break up, but since they started as friends I don't know of anything that could come on so fast and break them up...but then again I'm not any of the Degrassi writers, so really I don't know how they're gonna continue to write Jatie.

I wonder how they're even going to end up getting together. Katie is so intent on not making the same mistake with boys and she changed her hairstyle to avoid them completely. Jake only recently got out of a relationship and he might still have feelings for Clare or something. I'm worried that Katie's craziness might drive him away because he hates drama.

Yeah, that's what I worry about, too. I mean, later on in a few months or so I think they could both work up to being together, but I don't know if right now at this point in time is gonna work out for them in the long run.

Yeeah I agree. I mean, I think the old Katie and Jake would have made a pretty great pair but right now? Well it's Degrassi so of course there's going to be some problems between them. I'm pretty excited for this pair though! I think Katie will settle down eventually and after that, her and Jake will probably have a more mature, calm relationship but for right now I am excited to see what's in store for them.

Agreed! Old Katie prior to Drew and Jake would've been great for each other, but now that Katie's been through what she's been through and she's changed her look and attitude I think a build up and some time to her and Jake getting together would be best for them both, otherwise, it may possibly be just another recipe for diaster.
