I'm so on the fence with these two. But if being with Jake helps Katie get her act together I think I might end up shipping them. I do like the fact they can -as a couple- hang out with a lot of other groups/couples.

Katie is easily one of my favorite characters since I first started watching Degrassi again and in quite a few ways I can relate to her. I however hate that the whole K/D/B triangle caused Katie to be sent over the deep end, and I do think that if Jake can bring the old very driven and take crap from no one Katie back that we first saw I think I could possibly really ship these two.

I really enjoyed these two tonight! I was wondering how Katie was going to handle Jake's announcement that he doesn't want to go to university and she reacted like I thought she would and Jake's counter balance argument to her wanting to go to get the heck out of dodge was a pleasant surprise. Nice banter back and forth.

And the roof scene? Whenever characters are on the roof I flash back to Sellie in Take on Me so I immediately smiled. Maybe Jake and Katie can have a new hangout where they go when they want to escape. That scene must be capped!

I'm surprised by how much I actually like these two! Their banter was great and their gf/bf joke in detention was...how should I describe it...adorable, sweet, so cute...it was just great in my opinion!

Then, them on the roof. Katie tripping into Jake's arms was like an accidental romantic start to a romance with great potential! It'd be nice to see Jatie together when they graduate with both of them having a happy ending!

It's not fair! Chloe and Justin have only been on Degrassi for one year and the Degrassi writers are already tossing them out. They need to stop making new characters like Juniors. Because by the time we grow to love them, their time is nearly up.

And yeah, I will never understand why they never made any of the newbies from last season Grade 10 characters, but not much we can do about it now.

I liked seeing our pair working in the garden tonight. Nice little moment that suits the continuity and works for what may be coming down the road.

But, guys.
As demonstrated in Jake's relationship with Clare, he had a tendency to make jokes, forget minor details and overall not take the relationship too seriously.
Knowing Katie, she's probably going to be pushing for him to take it more seriously just like Clare did.
We all know how badly it ended when Clare tried to get him to take it seriously and Katie is a no-nonsense kind of girl which is worrisome.

I'm not worried at this point. I think we've got a different Katie on our hands. If anything post Drew, she might be hesitant to settle down and might question Jake's intentions. I don't think we even have to worry about that right now. Now they are just chilling out and being refreshingly comfortable with each other. I really need a gif or caps of those two on the roof when she fell into his arms. And then they are all like "I don't like you." "I don't like you either." "Let's build a garden." "Okay, if you want to get dirty."

Ugh, I am so behind on the Degras. But I'm happy to hear the garden is still there.

100% agreed! To be honest, at first Katie was the reason I got back into Degrassi, and now she's supposed to graduate along with the other seniors at the end of this season...yeah, we still have one whole other part of Degrassi Season 12, but it won't last for ever. Is it wrong of me to hope that the rumors are in fact true about her being held back......

That was so romantic in an accidental way for them!
