Hey all!
 *gives everyone a million hugs*  I'm so glad to finally be home!See, my parents and I went to go visit their friends in a city about an hour away. We were visiting them for the first time and we got to their house just fine. When we were ready to go home, we needed directions on how to go back, so my dad asked his friend. It was 7:57 when we left their house. While we were driving back, I had dozed off to sleep and the next thing I know, my parents stop at some gas station in the middle of nowhere. My dad went inside and I asked my mom what happened. She said we were lost because we didn't take an exit. I got so scared when she said that. A few minutes later, my dad came back to the van after asking for directions from the guy who works at the gas station. My parents tried to figure them out (about 9:00 now!) and then they said we were still lost. We stopped again at another gas station and asked for directions and we went on our way. We followed this guy's directions and then we didn't no where to go, so while in the car and on the road, my dad asked another lady in her car and she didn't know, so he asked a guy in another car and he gave us directions. My dad followed them. You don't know how happy I was to finally see the Sears Tower come into view! We got home from there with no trouble. We were driving for 3 hours and a half hours (11:30 now) and I was completely exhausted from that trip! My parents and I agreed that next time my parents go to their friends house, they are so gonna take us back to our house! __________________

Hi, sweet!
Getting lost is no fun, especially at night. Why does everything seem more ominous in the dark? Was it snowing, that would be even worse? __________________

Thank you Sweet and Krystle. My dad is doing alright as of now but, he may have to start chemo as his cancer has come back.

Getting lost period just sucks. Scares me. Especially if the place we stop at is just almost deserted. :shudder: I don't even like being in a car late at night, I'm that paranoid.
