I don't know if their dates ever went well...most dates on Degrassi don't. I remember a movie date but Darcy was distracted by Spinner/Manny.

I'm okay with pretty much all Spin ships I think. He's like that item on the dot grill menu that goes with everything. French fries? What kind of food is Darcy? Emma? Manny? Jane? Paige? Oh boy I hope menu is a large one cause that boy got around.

What was everyone's opinion on Darcy trying to get Spinner to become a virgin again (ceremonially)?

From a story line standpoint, I thought it fit with where their characters were at during that time. That said, I had trouble not rolling my eyes constantly while watching, but then again me and religion don't exactly mix too well.

Me and religion def didn't mix back when the show was live and I think I kind of ignored Darcy's character until season 7. Now I'm more interested in her motivations and I think it fits. I think she wanted the best for Spinner. I wish she felt if anything they needed a ceremony (of sorts) to heal from the shooting. But she is only human and her jealousy got in the way. I don't think her intentions for Spin to become a virgin again were exactly...pure. He picked up on that too and I don't think he felt accepted as is which is why he went to Paige. Sad situation since I think they both desperately didn't want to lose each other and sabotage the relationship on their own. It wasn't Manny or Paige's fault.
