I took a leisurely walk to the local high school to drop off my ballot in the drop box. I know from her IG story that my co mod dropped her ballot off as well. If you're from the US and you're eligible to vote please do. It's always very important, but this year more so than ever. Oh, and it's not just about President, there's many other races and questions on every ballot that are key to how are lives will be over the coming years.

And with that off my chest, I remember hearing about the whole M&M thing with them was to make the promoters and venues read the contracts which I thought was pretty ingenious. I love this tweet from Eddie's son about a year ago.

Speaking of fathers, mine would have been 83 on Wednesday, so Happy Birthday to him wherever he is not having to endure this horrible year.

Happy birthday to your dad. Mine is turning 74 this year but is living in North Covid Dakota. Got a Marco Polo from him the other day and he has asthma and that itself alone is concerning. But he is doing the best he can to protect himself among the rat lickers. I have a bunch of family out there. I don't know why they choose to live there but they do.

Re election: How is everyone? ARE WE OK?

This is one of my favorite fictional presidential moments:

So rather than post something about the election ( ) or Alex Trebek ( ), I'm just going to post this interview with Stephen Stohn's awesome parents on Remembrance Day.

I am listening to my queen's Christmas ep: A Very Poppy Christmas.

It is no surprise that:

My next post will be about her Grammy nomination.

Have the Bidens gotten a cat yet? I am so excited to have pets in the White House again.

I'm not sure how (although I think it does involve conservative politics) but I recently found out that my cousin is actually friends with the guy who wrote and recorded one of the most famous guitar riffs in rock n' roll history, and you can also see him showing off a bit in the second clip, I hope everyone has a good and healthy 2021 so far.

I know people have said that they have gained weight during the COVID pandemic but after yesterday, I feel at least 5 pounds lighter.

My favorite part of the inauguration:

We were all set in the DMV area for our first significant snow fall in almost two years and....it doesn't appear to be living up to expectations.

But, there was enough for the pandas at the National Zoo to have some fun.

And Champ and Major seemed to be enjoying the day as well.

It feels like 20. I have to remind myself she was Paris Hilton's assistant back in her Simple Life days.

As it turns out this would Mr. Stohn's final Remembrance Day as he passed away on Thursday morning. Stephen posted a lovely tribute to his father, who appeared to have a remarkable life.

stephenstohn- Dale’s and my father died peacefully this morning at the age of 98. A life well lived indeed, he is sorely missed. He was a Word War II veteran, fighting in the Canadian army across Europe. Near the end of the Italian campaign, the Canadian forces were moved through France to the Netherlands and on to Germany, where Dad fought until VE-Day. At that time he volunteered for the Pacific war, and was initially sent to Canada where he was granted a thirty-day leave. The thirtieth day of his leave fell on August 15th, coincidentally his birthday, but more importantly VJ-Day, so he never made it to the Pacific! For most of his life until retirement Dad’s day job was as Director of Personnel at a large accounting firm, but throughout he had a successful second career as an artist, creating spatial constructions in acrylic, with sell-out shows in a number of cities including three at Roberts Gallery in Toronto and one at Gilman Gallery in Chicago. He always loved playing golf, particularly at The Toronto Hunt. Indeed every year, from the ages of 76 through 96, he succeeded in hitting his age! He and our mother (still going strong at 97) always treasured the many summers they spent at Pointe-au-Baril, and his ashes will rest in a niche at Pointe-au-Baril, with a panoramic view of Georgian Bay, the tall pines, glorious sunsets and sunrises. A celebration of life is intended after the pandemic restrictions are lifted. Typical of him, in lieu of flowers or gifts he asked that his friends choose their favourite tipple and raise a glass to the good old times. Donations would be gratefully accepted for The Sunnybrook Foundation at https://donate.sunnybrook.ca/donation-landing. RIP John Stohn!

I don't know what I am going to do if she doesn't win.
